Frequently Asked Questions

Question:  What should I bring to my first appointment?

 

Answer:  Bring your prescription, your insurance card, referral if you need one and an I.D.  Also bring any recent X-ray or MRI reports that may be relevant to your case.

 

 

Question:  What should I wear?

 

Answer:  Wear loose and comfortable clothing and close toed shoes.  Changing rooms are available for your convenience.

 

 

Question:  Will my doctor receive updates of my progress?

 

Answer:  Yes.  Your doctor will receive regular progress reports.  If you have a follow up appointment scheduled with your doctor, please let your therapist or the front desk know so that a report can be prepared for you ahead of time.

 

 

Question:  What if I need more therapy?

 

Answer:  Prior to the completion of your prescription your physical therapist will perform a re-evaluation to determine how you are doing and if the goals have been met.  If more therapy is needed we will request a new prescription from your doctor.

 

 

Question:  How long will appointments last?

 

Answer:  Please allow an hour to an hour and a half for your appointments.
